A pattern called a cartoon has been made of the design for the panel.

Glass is then placed over the cartoon and is cut to shape.

Once cut to size, the glass is placed inside strips of extruded ‘H’ section lead, called ‘came’.

The pieces are then assembled over the cartoon and soldered together.
